See Your Data
The goal of DatavizVR is allow you to view your data in virtual space, visualised in nice, colourful, plotted graphs. Using the intuitive controls, you can easily assign data to different axis of your graphs, filter, sort, categorise, and more. Then, the theory goes, you can more easily analyse your futuristic charts and spot trends, get insight into what the data is telling you, and generally make better decisions based on the information presented. Obviously, the use case for this program is very specific; you're not going to get much enjoyment from this application unless you have data that you need to visualise, and even then it's debatable just how useful it can actually be. The graphics are less than stellar, which may not be important considering the purpose, but it still feels as though they could be a little more polished.
Novelty Factor
Only someone actually analysing data often could truly decide if this application is useful or not. It does feel rather gimmicky, perhaps fun to try once or twice, but not actually practical in real world use. That being said, this demo is free, so why not find out for yourself?
